and I get to be a witness to every moment of the big day! Just over a week to go until Karrie & Dan tie the knot…and I couldn’t be more excited to break into the art of wedding photography with this fun couple. I have been involved in several weddings as a candid photographer…but this marks my first wedding as the sole photographer and I am so thrilled! While at my grandparent’s house the past 2 weeks, I was in bad need of a photography “fix”. Looking out at the newly fallen snow, I noticed my childhood friend’s house was alive with action! The Borneman grandchildren were livin’ it up in the snow…a rare occurrence in NW Washington! They were sledding behind a riding mower…so I picked up the phone and called to see if I could come over & capture some of the action. The result: Pure joy on the kids’ faces frozen in pictures. I am so in love with her youngest son’s beautiful eyes!
